November 30, 2021, proved to be a big day for “Locke & Key” fans, as evidenced by an Instagram post from the official Netflix US account. It includes an image of Emilia Jones and Connor Jessup — who play Kinsey and Tyler Locke, respectively — standing on either side of an oversized film slate. Written across it is “Season 3, Take 1,” and written in the caption of the photo is “@lockeandkeynetflix season 3 dropping 2022,” prompting fans to sound off with their excited remarks in the comment section.
Obviously, this announcement didn’t reveal when exactly “Locke & Key” Season 3 will drop on Netflix, but if production is currently underway in late November of 2021, it stands to reason that it could reach small screens everywhere by late summer or early fall of 2022. Of course, this is merely speculation, so all we can do is cross our fingers and hope that the next helping of “Locke & Key” episodes isn’t too far away and that positive news on its progress will be plentiful in the coming months.
