No Way Home’ Finally Receives A Rating

Spider-Man: No Way Home has finally been rated.

It’s hard to believe it but Spider-Man: No Way Home graces cinemas in as little as two weeks. Yup, you read that right. The wait for the Tom Holland Spidey threequel has been excruciatingly long especially since early reports suggested the film would feature Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire reprising their roles as Spider-Man. While those reports haven’t been confirmed, we won’t have to wait much longer to see our beloved Peter Parkers are in the Marvel Studios film.

What has been confirmed thanks to the trailers is that previous Spider-Man villains be returning, including fan favorites Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus. Spider-Man: No Way Home is set to open the door for the multiverse after it was teased in Loki. It remains to be seen how the Spidey threequel is dependent on Loki, and how both properties set up Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

With the multiverse now wide open, strange things are bound to happen. What isn’t strange is the Marvel film’s rating. Spider-Man: No Way Home’s rating isn’t out of the ordinary when compared to previous films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film has officially been rated PG-13 for “sequences of action/violence, some language, and brief suggestive comments.” Earlier this week, Tom Holland stated that the film would feature “very violent” sequences. According to Holland, these scenes will be a departure from previous Spider-Man films and will feature the web crawler participating in different fighting styles.

Here is the synopsis for Spider-Man: No Way Home:
