South Park The Streaming Wars will be released exclusively on Paramount+ on June 1.

Paramount+ also announced that a fourth South Park movie will premiere this summer on the streaming service, according to an article by Deadline.

In addition, the duo agreed to create 14 films that will premiere on Paramount+ with The Streaming Wars being the third following Post Covid and Post Covid: Covid Returns.

Paramount+ has emerged as a formidable rival to Netflix, which was founded in 1997 and introduced streaming media and video on demand in 2007.

New York City-based Paramount Global in its first-quarter earnings report earlier this month revealed that its Paramount+ streaming service grew to ‘almost 40 million’ subscribers from 32.8 million as of the end of December, according to an article by The Hollywood Reporter.

Recent deal: Parker and Stone, shown in July 2016 in San Diego, signed a $900 million deal last August with ViacomCBS, which rebranded in February as Paramount Global, to continue producing South Park for six more years.
